Letter from Papa

My Dearest Trishiv,

From the very first moment I held you — that tiny, perfect miracle wrapped in a soft blanket — I knew that my world had changed forever. Your little fingers wrapped around mine, and in that instant, you had already wrapped yourself around my heart completely.

Watching you discover the world every day is the greatest privilege of my life. The way your eyes go wide when you hear a new sound, the way you giggle at absolutely nothing and everything — you remind me that there is pure magic in the ordinary.

I promise you this: I will always be your safe place. I will be there to catch you when you fall, to cheer the loudest at everything you try, and to hold your hand through all of life's adventures. I will read to you, sing (badly) to you, and make sure you always know — without any doubt — how deeply and fiercely you are loved.

You are not just my son. You are my greatest achievement, my proudest joy, my most precious gift. You are my reason to be the best version of myself every single day.

I love you more than all the stars in the sky, more than all the waves in the ocean, and a little bit more than that.
